oh my GAWD i can't believe how long it's been since i've updated here. HI, REMEMBER ME?? got a new resin kid; Iplehouse did a run of limited edition dolls for their Noctarcana Circus and i just fell in love with the Sword Dance I mini. *A* so i ordered me one. getting her was a bit of an adventure--they screwed up the address and she was yoyo'd back and forth a few times, but she's finally home now. here's some pics!

she's a limited special skintone. :D it's really nice--they mix the standard resin with French resin to get this really lovely olivey tone. this is with flash.

full-body shot. she stands pretty okay on the carpet; she's strung a little loose, so i'll have to tighten her up a bit. i wanna suede her knees, too, cuz they're a bit floppy. also, the Iple minis are...less mini than other minis. i was surprised! i saw on the site that she was a little taller, but...Iple's got back, yo. those panties are stretched over some serious trunk-junk. she can't even sit in them. so i'll have to make her some. NO COMMANDO FOR MY KIDS. >:[

here she is next to my DoC/Minifee hybrid girl Miho. i took off Miho's wig so you can see just how much taller Sachiko is. the build is much broader, and she's got some serious birthin' hips.

here she is wearing her ninja costume. XD she didn't wanna stand on the carpet in those boots, so you get my hand, too.

with her wig she really does look like a little azn girl. she has a very natural look to her, much more mature and less stylized than most minis.

and here she is in some street clothes. off-duty ninja. XD one benefit of her sturdier build is i have some clothes that are too big for my skinnier minis. those jeans don't fit my other kids! :D but they fit her quite nicely~

i'm reeeeally happy with her. ♥

lovelove the doll. i'm kinda disappointed with Iplehouse, though. like...they were delayed in casting her, which is fine, i know the humidity can muck things up. but then they shipped her to the wrong address. when i corrected it. TWICE. they tried to charge me to have her shipped out again, and i was like UH, NO? and i linked them to the corrections and gave them a line-by-line breakdown of the address so they couldn't fuck up again. so they admitted they screwed up, and said they'd ship her out again when she was received back in Korea. ...which they did. BUT THEY DIDN'T TELL ME. i got no notification of re-shipment, no confirmation, no tracking number, no nothing. ten days after she was shipped back to Korea i poked them and was like, "...do you have her yet? O_o" and they were like LOL YEAH WE SHIPPED HER TO YOU ALREADY ACTUALLY SHE WAS DELIVERED ON THE 20TH. and i was like WAT. cuz not only did they not TELL me she'd been re-shipped, i got no delivery notification, either! and this was on Saturday night that they decided to tell me this...so i spent all Sunday biting my nails worried she'd been sent back to Korea again cuz i didn't know she'd been sitting in the damn post office since last Monday. called them first thing Monday morning and thank GOD she was still there. went and picked her up and brought her home.

you'd think they least they could have done was given me green eyes like i asked for. -___-; not impressed. would buy again only if i had no choice. does anyone else stock Iple dolls? cuz i'd really rather not deal with this faggotry again. i love the doll, don't get me wrong...they do lovely work. but their CS has a ton of room for improvement. they had several chances to make this right, and in the end i did get my product, but with a lot of hassle and nothing to show for my egregious inconveniences. meh.

:D it was actually really nice outside today, so i set up shop out on the little deck and had at her faceup for a while. didn't finish everything--i wanna separate her toes so she can wear waraji, so i haven't blushed her knees or feet yet, but i did her face and blushed her torso. NEXT PROJECT: legs, feet, and kitsune mask. :D but i really like how her face came out.

Woohoo! Finally! Another photoshoot!

Miho: First a few older pics. We got a bunch of new clothes from F2B a while back, and Mun was taking some pics to share with the forums, but most of the outfits were already there, so she didn't post any. I am particularly fond of that Chinese outfit, though I have no idea where I'd wear it.

Miho: I was gonna send Roppyon an email, but I didn't have a chance to finish it. So I'll finish it now.

Miho: Here we go. Dear Rowan. How are you? Been thinking about you a lot recently. I still have your scarf out, even though it's summer. Nene think's I'm crazy.

Miho: Well, in any case...we're all doing pretty well. The new apartment is a lot bigger than the old one; we have lots more room to move around. We also got a bigger fishtank.

Miho: Aidan really likes the fish.
Aidan: They're ORANGE, Miho--ORANGE! 8DDDD
Miho: In other news...

Miho: Ilias and Nene's relationship is...moving.

Miho: ...Albeit slowly.

Miho: Kinou, of course...is only about 7 months old and rather defaulted to Mun for advice. Mun had no comment.

Miho: Other than that, nothing too exciting has been going on. Nene found she also likes being a redhead.

Miho: Of course everyone knows that redheaded twins is unusual and awesome. So it all works out quite nicely. She makes a lovely redhead, if I do say so myself.

Miho: Of course that meant Michi wanted to be a redhead today too...

Miho: So three redheaded sisters got quite a lot of glances. ^_^

Mine: The sun was really pretty today. And the weather wasn't too hot, either.

Miho: There was a nice breeze.

Miho: Isn't our baby sister the cutest? ^.^

Mine: It was so nice outside...

Mine: We wound up taking a nap on the deck.

Miho: Antan decided to join us after a while.

so i tattooed Michi and Miho today. the results came out rather nicely, i think. i'm real happy with Miho's; juli, whaddya think?

the wings came out a little uneven, but i like the blue.

and the stars on her collar. i didn't put any on her hipbone; i was afraid it would rub off. you can have this outfit, too, juli. the pants don't fit Miho, since the minifee body's got back, as it were. >.> and the shirt is a little big for a slim torso doll. ^_^

and her side. i tried to do it around her navel, but i couldn't get it to not look silly.

Miho's been upset with me for not taking any pictures. I figure I had an excuse for a little while; I moved. Twice, actually. >/ And I had a lot of personal issues I was dealing with that I won't get into. In any case...have some pics!

Here is the newest addition to the famiily; this is my li'l sister's Twing-Key, Michi! She's Miho and Mine's little sister.

Michi was just a head for the longest time, but she's on Mine's body now. Mine is getting a new body--a Minifee body so she matches her twin. I don't have it yet, so now Mine's just a head. Aidan sympathizes. >/ So no pics of Mine for a while; I'll be getting her new body toward the end of the month.

Y'all get kudos if you can name this pose reference.

These two came out kinda dark, but I liked them anyway. She's such a pretty girl. ♥

Aaaand here's some new pics of Miho. ^_^ I like her with this brown wig; she makes a lovely brunette, don't you think?

That one came out a little fuzzy, but it somehow adds to the picture, i think. She's been holding Rowan's scarf lately...I actually tried to put it away with the rest of the winter clothes a while back, but she wouldn't let me. She misses him lots.

Seriously. I can't get her to put it down.

I catch her staring out the window sometimes, like she might catch a glimpse of Rowan and his silly plaid shorts if she looks long enough.

Such the little lost lovebug. Hopefully she'll get to see him again sometime soon.

???: It has come to my attention that a lot has been going on recently, with little or no base explanation. Therefore, I am here to clarify on some points of the story thus far. *clears throat*

This is my brother Rowan. He's sixteen, and...not necessarily the brightest crayon in the box. However his heart is very much in the right place, and what he lacks in higher intelligence he more than makes up for in sincerity. He enjoys anime, comic books, and pretending to be a ninja.

On that subject...this is Miho, also sixteen. Currently the object of Rowan's affections. Luckily, Miho is also a trifle ridiculous, and eagerly returns Rowan's feelings. They're quite fond of one another, and are by far one of the siliest teenage couples I have ever met. Miho shares Rowan's enjoyment of Japanese media and ninjas...and is also very fond of the color red. Obviously.

The relationship between Miho and Rowan is of course much to the dismay of young Ilias, age eighteen...who fell hard for Miho shortly after moving in with Tokage and her family. Unfortunate for him that Miho was already so close with Rowan, because he pines visibly for her. Poor lad. Ilias is...frequently grumpy...but I am told he practices Aikido, Iaito, and is very passionate about his Egyptian Geneology.

On that note, this is Aidan, age seventeen. He's Ilias's best friend, and the reason Ilias came to live with Tokage. The two have been close since junior high school. He is also half-brother to Miho and Mine, and a cousin to my brothers and I. Aidan is...well, to be quite frank he's about as nutty as they come. Which is probably why he gets along so well with certain other members of my own family. More on that later. Aidan loves anything orange, including spicy buffalo wings.

To finish up Tokage's family we have Mine, age sixteen. She is Miho's twin sister (three minutes younger), and is probably as close to normal as that household is going to get. She's a bit of an audiovisual geek, but other than that, she's mostly sane. So far. Mine loves her videocamera, and dreams of becoming a reporter one day.

Backing up just a moment, we have my brother Damien, age nineteen. Damien is...unique. He enjoys most anything that is inappropriate at the time, and lives to give others a hard time. He is very adept at the latter. I want to believe there is a normal, sane human being somewhere beneath his diabolical and absurd exterior...but I remain dubious.

Here we have Makoto to your left, and Fyero to your right. Fyero is seven years old, and is probably the only creature on earth more basely evil than Damien. He dreams of one day conquering humanity. Makoto is...a little more difficult to explain. I'm honestly not certain how old he is. Makoto was once a little black stuffed dog that Fyero loved very much. However, Fyero outgrew the little black dog,as children tend to do. Lonely without his playmate, Makoto the little black dog grew to enormous proportions and...Makoto the very tall man eventuated. Fyero does his best to pretend he has nothing to do with Makoto, and insists that he is seven years old now and has a new toy dog.

This is my brother Fey, and his boyfriend Seng, both age fifteen. They both enjoy snuggling, cuddling, and collecting small fluffy stuffed animals. They also like any manner of soft, furry, cute, or sparkly things. Fey loves to read, and is arguably the most book-smart member of the family. He is probably the only person in the house I can have a meaningful conversation with.

And that brings us back to...me. I am Julian, age 23. I am a classical violinist, and enjoy the finer things in life. I am the current head of the household where my brothers and I all live--unless of course you count Hibari. And now that you have a bit more of an understanding of the situations at hand...I return you to your regularly scheduled photostory...

yo~, Mun here. so i was fiddling around with Aiden earlier today and while i knew that the Valencia body i got for him was super-bendy (the whole reason i wanted it in the first place...), i had little idea just HOW bendy it was...

check it out...

so the first thing i had noticed about the Valencia body was the special hip joint that would allow him to sit like that ^

but~ he really surprised me with the little stunt he pulled next.

Wow... Not only did Aidan and I get to go on vacation with Mun to Japan...but there was so much excitement when we got home!! All kinds of presents, it was amazing!

Well, my big brother has come home now.

This is Aidan. He's my half brother, and he's a year older than me. (He's also totally batty, but that's beside the point. Note he has two different colored eyes. That can't be normal...) He'll be getting legs and such soon. But for now, this is all there is to him. ^_^;;;

So Aunt Hibari was housing Aidan for a while, and then he got to come home with Mun and I for Christmas. :D

あんたん, this is my room. This is where you'll be living from now on. It'll be a little cramped once you get your body, I think, but when we move to Seattle with Mun, I think we'll probably have a lot more room.

So Mun took me to her parents' house over Thanksgiving (dude, Mun's gram is nutty. It was really funny) so she could do some modding on my joints. She said she felt bad because I couldn't move very well. o.o I said it was no big deal, but she would have none of it. Luckily, her mom had a dremel, otherwise we'd STILL be at her parents' house...sanding away. O_o But the surgery was a success. Here are some photos of the results. ^_^

And that, too. I'm happy, now I can sit on the floor or my futon without falling over backward. ^_^

Mun also modded the backs of my legs so they bend further...

...but was apparently a little distraught that she actually sanded away a little too much, so now there is a small gap. I said no big deal, now she knows for next time. It's not like it hurt anything.

So I've arrived in my new home. I've learned that my new name is Miho, and new Mun lives in VA...so I'm not too far away from where I was...at least the weather won't be a big shock. Oh, and let me say that flying Priority Mail? Ain't all it's cracked up to be. ¬_¬ But man...RabidCatGirl? she sure did pack me well. XD It was a long 'flight'...but at least it was soft n squishy. ^_^;;

My new owner had to go at the bubble wrap with an X-acto knife! Not exactly the best way for her to make a first impression, yanno? I was somewhat fearful for my life... Hahah, but I guess that was really the only way.

New Mun has a cat...his name is Kyou...

He seemed very interested in my arrival...

I think that truthfully, he wasn't quite sure what to make of it, though.

So Mun finally got me out of that blasted bubblewrap. Thought I was going to suffocate!

ACK! Don't look at me! I'm naked! And bald!! (...but still sexy, no? XD)

Ah, RCG sent this outfit along. Good, this is a cute one. I think I can handle making a first impression in this...

Phew! There. Much better. Nice, no? It's terribly warm in the summer, but I just can't bear to cut it. Mun tells me she would like to get me a red wig. I think that might be quite nice! I've always wondered what it would be like to be a redhead... o.o

So Kyou and I meet face-to-face (or rather...nose-to-hair) for the first time. I must say, he's...terribly friendly. o_o I mean, I know cats are all about being physical and the rubbing and butting of heads and all, but I wasn't expecting to be taken to quite this quickly. My, my, Mister Kitty. You act like you've never had a pretty 40cm girl in the house! No kisses on a first date!

It seems Mun knew instinctively that I like high places... She sat me up on this shelf while she cleared off a place for me on the bureau. Her room is...cluttered. *laughs* But I suppose I'm not exactly a poster child for organisation, either.

While we waited for Mun to finish fixing up my living area, Kyou showed me this delightful little rocking chair that was procured, it seems, just for my arrival.

How wonderfully thoughtful! It's adorable!

How relaxing. I think I will enjoy living here. :D

Oh dear. It seems the arm is a bit wobbly there, Mun. You should fix it! Or perhaps I can do it. I do like tinkering. >:]

So Homecoming to this new place was...interesting. Hahah, I think Kyou and I will get along just fine now that we've worked out a bit of...compromise. I hear Cousin Fey will be going to live at Aunt Hibari's sometime in November. I'm excited to see him! Mun and I will be visiting Aunt Hibari in December, she tells me, so I'm really looking forward to it. Aunt Hibari is the one who found RCG's thread in Den of Angels and made it possible for me to come live with Mun...so much ♥ for her! I can't wait to meet her in-person. ^.^ Mun talks about her all the time, so she must be really great. XD

Anyway...Mun has finished fixing up my little 'room' on her bureau, so I'll be showing that off soon. Till then, I'm worn out! おやすみなさい！
